hey fellas, going thru this forum has helped me sort my thoughts out about losing hair a lot. Im 27 and have noticed my hair loss since i was 25 or so. Never thought it was a big deal until friends and momz started commenting. Now it is in the back of my mind every f'kin waking second. I fear going out into the sun where ppl can see my scalp right thru the hair. My right temple is receding fast. my bald spot is growing and the hair on my crown is thinning.

Anyhow, I just got a presricption for propecia. I plan on starting it at the same time as minoxidil. Is this ok? Or should I start the respective treatments at diff times? Also where can I get my hands on Nizoral?

I will post pics this wkend. Also, thanks to all for your helpful posts.

In my opinion you should start with Propecia and Nizoral shampoo ASAP.
Use it for 12 months or until you see some results.
Maybe you won’t need minoxidil at all.

If you start with both, you won’t know if one worked or both worked, and maybe you’ll be spending time and money on a product you don’t even need (at least for now).

Hey, I'm pretty much the same age as you, similar story etc. I decided to start finasteride 5-6 months before minoxidil so that I could judge both treatments seperately and decide whether 1 or both together would be more beneficial to me long term. I managed to find Nizoral 2% at one of my local chemists but if you can't then there's several places online.
