Please Help Need Your Opinion/advices

Hi everyone I’m 28 years old and considering a hair transplant. I also notice my hair started to thin around the age of 21. Mainly the crown area and now the front hair line/mid has thin noticeably the past few years. I’ve done my research and know that’s it’s tricky cause I will likely continue to bald but who really knows by how much and only time can tell. I met a hair surgeon that has 20 years of experience and recommend if I do I need to focus on my front hairline to the mid. I was thinking about 2000 FUE and maybe 500 around the crown area if I wanted but he insist definitely to focus on the front hairline/mid and can do 500 around the crown if I like. Any thoughts? Any advice/opinions will be appreciated it. I had use concealers/spray for many years and stopped using them about 3 years ago and have my haircut like this to sort of conceal that my hair is thinning. I have my hair short from the side and back all the way up to the crown, with this haircut it sort of conceal the fact I’m balding.
The slick back hair doesn’t do much anymore since you can see in the photos my scalp is showing so much. Any advice would be appreciated.
