Guys!

I have always had a high hairline and low density on my head.
But since February 2019 I noticed a huge decrease in my hair density and hairline,On more careful inspection I noticed a bald patch on the right side of my crown which was later diagnosed by my doctor as alopecia areata and I am taking my injections for the same with some success.
My doctor without an exhaustive examination of my head said I was suffering from pattern baldness and prescribed me the usual Minoxidil & Finasteride stuff along with other Vitamins & Minerals.

Please note that I also suffer from mild Hypothyroidism and have not started taking the Minoxidil or the finasteride

Could the community please have a look at these pictures and decide if its telogen effluvium or male pattern baldness?

In the attached pictures I have oiled my hair so that the density (or the loss of it lol) is clearly visible

Please note the location of the bald patch (alopecia areata) in the above image (towards the right of the head)
In these images I have combed my hair to one side to make the parting more visible

Thanks a ton

it doesnt take a doctor to know that you are balding and a doctor did tell you are.

so get on with taking finasteride and mixodil
