Hey everyone. I am 26 currently and have seen some major hair loss and major thinning over the last couple of months.

I am pretty scared and was was hoping someone would give me some advice on what to do here. I am currently taking multi vitamins, and biotin. I only shampoo around 2-3 times a week but I do wash my hair out daily. I'm not sure if I should be washing my hair every day??

Anyways any advice would really help.

Thanks.

Big 3
Propecia/finasteride = Most important
minoxidil/Rogaine = You can use it on your temples
Nizoral = Optional

Ok, I bought some Nizoral.

Should I got to a dermatologist in order to get me finasteride? Also am I catching this at a manageable time or did I already lose to much hair to get it back?

you could go to a derm or you could order from somewhere like alldaychemist. i got a 1 year supply of fincar (90 5mg finasteride tablets, divided into quarters for 1.25mg/day) for around $65 shipped.

you caught it early enough that you will be fine. you will most likely stop any further hair loss which should be your main goal. regrowth is common but its best to keep your expectations low because YMMV. some people get full regrowth, some get a little, and some get none or their hair loss continues despite treatment. generally speaking the early you catch it the better, so if your hairline only started receding a few months to a year ago there is a good chance that you could see significant regrowth.

good luck and make sure you add minoxidil too, some people respond very well to the minoxidil/finasteride combo (and be consistent, that's the most important thing... dont skip doses)

Ok thanks.

Where can I get finasteride online if I live in the US?

You are Norwood 1.5 Norwood 2, that's actually not that bad for your age. I advise you to go on finasteride.
