There are a number of posters who consistently preach that the foam "doesn't work" I dare them to tell the below posters that. They would be laughed at.

Some sick results. One thing I've noticed is that those with greater success are generally in their early 20's. I believe it's because they are catching things early before the actual follicle keels over. If that's the case, I need to reassess my expectations being 35 and all.

Hey--I didn't start treating my loss until I was in my 30's and have done fairly well considering the amount of hair I had lost. There's always hope as long as you're not slick bald. I wish I had started earlier, but I can't complain.

Could be although there have been those here that have switched over with no problems--myself and Cassin included and I'm sure there are others.

My sole point in this post is to show that the foam very obviously does work and hopefully the obnoxious "foam doesn't work" threads will stop.

Not every treatment works for everyone and I've seen posters swear liquid minoxidil is garbage, but we all know that isn't true.

Thanks - that's encouraging to hear. I'm trying to gather as much feedback as I can and make the best choice. The thing is, there's a lot of negativity on here I've noticed. That's ok, I'm still gonna go with my plan of foam and Nizoral first and potentially finisteride at some point.

You'll find negative posts about every product available, but there's also alot of positive feedback. No one utilizes this forum like they should. There is such a wealth of information here that it still shocks me that the same questions are asked over and over again, sometimes in the same day. Those links I posted are not even all of the success stories with Rogaine foam---those are just what I found in about 5 minutes that had pictures. There are more---some with pics and quite a few without. Pretty good results for a product that's "completely ineffective" and "doesn't work" don't you think?

BTW, you should seriously consider starting finasteride---any minoxidil product is much more effective in a lowered DHT environment.

I take all the stuff on here with a grain of salt anyway. I just focus on one fact and that is that minoxidil is FDA approved and has been around for a long time. There's one reason for that IMO and that is because it works by and large. If it wasn't working, these companies wouldn't make any money and it would be off the shelves. So I'll go with that and hope that my body responds well to it (which I'm already showing early signs of it affecting me - no hair regrowth yet, but some additional loss in my thinning areas which I believe is a good thing).

Man, I really need to think through the finasteride thing. I've never been big on taking meds so it would be a big leap for me. If Rogaine foam regrows even dinky hairs on my hairline, I will probably get motivated and add the finasteride then. We shall see.
