I have pictures of how i wear my hair original i comb it forward u cant really see in my scalp like that.. so if anyone can tell me how bad my hair loss is and what i can do about and if i can expect some good regrowth? also if anyone uses toppek tell me if it would be good for me? my hair is all frizzy and damaged also =( thx for the help

Im gunna be honest with you man. You lost a good amount of hair judging from your pictures.

But the good news is, you would be a good canidate for topik.

If you hoped on the BIG 3 you can regrow some hair. You atleast have hair in areas of your loss so it would be more likely to regrow. I dunno you could get lucky and regrow a ton of hair but it just depends on how you respond. I wouldn't count on getting a full head of hair back though.

If I where you I would use

Nano Shampoo
Folligen Conditioner
Nizoral 2%

propecia
Xandrox 5%

If I were you I would definitely stick with big 3. There is a chance to regrow! I was in far worster male pattern baldness situation as I started treatment and it has improved my hair.

I have been having terrible sheding last days but few minutes ago I have seen some new hair on my temples, darker and thicker.

I dont find applying minoxidil 2x daily so big pain in the *** as you can read sometimes here. Far from it I like it because I know I am doing my best to improve my situation.

By the way: true is that you have lost some hair but your dry hait does not look that bad.

Give some treatments a shot. Why not? Give it a year and be patient though. Prolly won't regrow it all back, but at least you may see some cosmetic improvement .

Here's my advice... and it's kind of extreme....

Go short... REAL short... bic your head even... and do it for 4-5 months while you use the big 3. Ever 2 months let your hair grow out a little.... and see how much better it looks. Keeping that long hair is almost more distacting that being bald.

Please dont be insulted, because i'm heading right to where you are, and that's my plan for when I can't comb my hair without it being completely obvious.

I agree, think you would be a fantastic candidate for the Big 3 (Nizoral, Propecia, Minoxidil). Because your hair appears to me to be a case of diffuse thinning that has reached a significant extent (as opposed to one clearly defined bald crater) I am betting that in your balding crown area there are significant amounts of barely visible vellus hairs in various stages of dormancy. I think that after even a little treatment quite a few of the hairs in your balding area would start to show some pigment again, and really improve your situation cosmetically, and rather rapidly, in my personal opinion (I hope!)

yea i shoulda started earlier but i dunno ..... i swear i been balding since 16ish. in 20 now =(~~~ where can i order all these products anyone know a good site and should i use 5% nizoral?

haha anyways i updated my briefcase with 2 new pics of my hair before i go to work... combing it forward is the only way to keep less visiable any other way u see straight into my scalp =(

hey sadsad, i'm pretty much where you are in hairloss. i haven't seen any regrowth with treatment of the big 3 after almost a year, but things haven't got worse, either. as far as propecia goes, since you're young, try and get a prescription for proscar. it'll save you a lot more $$$. your doctor should know it's the same thing as propecia, and that you'll just cut it in 4ths. you might also want to invest into buying toppik if you're going to keep your hair long like that. hope things work out!

here's a good question, how come some people here repeat the same arbitrary and vague comments over and over verbatim. an example: "you'd be an excellent candidate for...", i have yet to see someone post pictures and then have someone say, "you know, i don't think you should try any of the big 3 because you are not a good candidate"

Propecia, Finpecia, Proscar, Fincar. All that include finasteride which blocks DHT producing.

Propecia is original, official and proven pill to stop hairloss produced by Merck. It has been officialy tested and the effects decribed in official studies. One pill contains 1mg of finasteride.

Proscar is also produce by Merck but it has been designed as cure for prostate problems. One pill contains 5mg of finasteride and lot of guys here cut it into 4 parts. It is f*****g cheaper that propecia.

Finpecia is produced by Indian company Cipla. It should contain 1mg of finasteride as propecia. I have heard that this socalled "generic" staff is working as well as the original Mercs propecia.

The fincar is generic equivalent to proscar.

This generic staff is available online and is cheap.
