Photos of my hair loss -- any suggestions?

I've posted my pictures on another board on this forum but since this board seems more active, I'm posting it again. Anyway, I'm 25 years old and I'm starting to do something about my hair loss. I'm thinking of buying minoxidil but I was wondering if you guys think it could help in my case.

hi mikey - very simple diagnosis: read the main HairLossTalk.com part of the site for all the details on each treatment - but to sum it up

minoxidil - you may regrow some of the hair you lost but you will still keep losing hair as it doesnt address the underlying cause of male pattern baldness (DHT)

Propecia - 83% chance of keeping what you have and regrowing

plus there are host of other "possibly helpful" treatments like Copper Peptides, spironolactone etc

In short I would say (and probrably most would agree) minoxidil on its own is not adequate so you may want to try propecia on its own first and see how you go or do the propecia/minoxidil combo - personally im waiting for 12 months on propecia until i decide wether to add minoxidil or not
