Hi all,

I've jost posted an update to my progress diary for anyone who's interested.

I'm in the middle of taking off those blurred face pics too, I get quite a few mails from people who claim they are fake or something, tsk...

You look like an old English aristrocrat with your hair combed like that, GeminiX. But your hair has certainly improved. Let's hope the hair transplant will pull through for you.

P.S. Why are you taking those other drugs beyond the finasteride? You seem to be on a pretty hefty anti-androgenic therapy plus finasteride. How's your sex drive, if I may ask?

Do some of you guys ever read a thread before posting in it or are you just slow on the uptake?

GeminiX is having a sex change operation and this change has enabled some great regrowth. I doubt the 'Bruce Willis before he balded' look is what GeminiX is thinking of.

Argh, so many comments...

Red Rose - Fingers Crossed, though the Scots can be a canny bunch

Nexus81 - Yes, almost completely bald. I've found some more pictures from back then which I'll add to the diary later.

Petchsky - Well for now I pretty much still am, though quite a bit of cosmetic surgery should go some way to fixing that in a few months.

Drinkum - I'm transsexual, hence the extra drugs. Sex drive has gone completely; zip, nada, gone, vanished, etc. My regime is effective, but the side effects are probably less than desirable for most guys (Although a number of medical professionals have told me that it's *only* the finasteride which is causing my hair to regrow).

With regards to appearance, I was thinking more â€œAndyâ€ from Little Britain (British TV show).

Actually, my hair usually looks very different to this, itâ€™s just that I usually take the pictures when my hair is freshly washed and conditioned for better continuity. Itâ€™s usually tied back in a ponytail or is gelled up to add weight (It looks very different, but also denser so is less useful for comparison).

Stax, you do realise it's a medical condition and not a "lifestyle choice" right?

Believe me, I'd give anything to have not been born with this, but you just have to play with the cards you're dealt and make the best of it.

Oh sh*t!!! Sorry dude! I thought it was by choice because i got it mixed up with transvestite. Sorry man disregard my post. I got transexual and transvestite mixed up. Still a scary thread though :lol:

wow...looking at your pictures from 2 years ago compared to now...you look years and years younger. Like from around 50 to 35 ish, thats just my 2 cents. COngrats
