Perception - Positive Outlook Vs It Doesn't Matter

Hello everyone,

I know what it is like to deal with the struggles of hair loss. I'm writing this as much for myself as I am for everyone else. I'm writing this to remind everyone to stay positive in their lives. No matter the situation always stay positive. If you are every feeling depressed or insecure about your hair loss remind yourself this:

Don not look at the things you do not have, look at the things you do have.

If you're feeling down, stand up, walk, wiggle your fingers and realize that the ability to do those things is a blessing and that you are better off than so many other people. I recently heard it said that if you worship your vanity you will die a thousand deaths before you finally die. Be confident in who you are. Many people do not get to the age where they get to experience hair loss.

I know it's a lot easier said than done. Believe me I know. The amount of energy I've spent on emotionally kicking myself over hair loss is truly...a waste of energy. We are here on this earth for a very limited time. Do not let anything get in the way of accomplishing what your heart desires. Especially something like hair loss. If you see a pretty girl that catches your eye, walk up and introduce yourself. Charm her. At the end of the day if you are not confident in yourself, how can you expect her to be confident in you? Shakespeare once said "..there's many a man hath more hair than wit."

What I mean by Positive Outlook vs it doesn't matter. Your outlook is all the matters. Everything else doesn't matter. If your perception is positive you can handle any challenge that comes your way. If you are positive it doesn't matter what the challenge is. Be patient. Trust science. Believe in the path you are meant to walk on this earth. It's meant for you.

Best of luck to you all my fellow gladiators.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Baldin

I think to some points context does help. We lose hair - that's what happens to two thirds of the male population - lets get over it.

Because we live in quite a vain age and because everyone wants to be attractive, to lose your locks and look worse (potentially) is never going to be a joyous event.

But yes, I do think we shouldn't be so doom and gloom and that we should focus on what we do control.
