I'm just wondering what people are using and what success they have had

I have been using revivogen for a while and have had some success, and I am thinking of adding spironolactone as well (revivogen at night, spironolactone 2%) in the morning

Could people share there experiences of revivogen, spironolactone, xandrox etc
and how often they apply them and what success they have had?

I have heard that fluridil may be good as well

Thankyou

Hi - I can't speak to fluridil - cause I never tried it - but . . .

I experienced some success w/ spironolactone 2%. It single-handedley (sp?) helped slow / stop my hair loss. They say that a Rev / spironolactone combo should be as effective if not more so than oral finasteride (I think Bryan wrote a paper on that somewhere) - but after 10 months on spironolactone and 6+ months on Rev - no regrowth for me - which doesn't mean it won't grow your hair.

I'm using up the remaining supply of topicals (Rev and spironolactone) and will ultimately phase them out in favor of 1 mg proscar every other day.

If you want to go w/ topicals - spironolactone 2% is a pleasure as it dries in 10 minutes. I used to use it in the morning, wait 10 minutes, and apply minoxidil on top. Did the same thing 8 hours later. I'd apply the rev (1.25 ml) before bed.

As part of my phase-out, I'm only using the spironolactone 1x per day, maybe 5x per week, and rev every other night.

Good luck.

would it be a good idea to include spironolactone into a finasteride regimen?? just to inhibit even more dht in the scalp?? since finasteride doesnt seem to be maintaining for me (7 months ) im thinking i need a topical dht.. and if spironolactone dries in 10 minutes i dont think it would be too much trouble to apply.

and is spironolactone a cream or liquidy like minoxidil??

how easy is it to apply to the scalp?

any comments would be awesome

I would hang off the spironolactone. It's not really taken in combination with finasteride, not sure whether its a good idea or not, but your only 7 months in...not enough time to judge...there is still alot of changes going on in your scalp.

You can get it as a liquid or a cream.. i tink.. :D
