Since I’m reading my weekly hairloss forums & as Notorious BIG said, I ain’t seeing or hearing nothing” I thought I’d talk about something new, at least to me.
PDO threads. These threads have been around for 70 years to suture wounds, then dissolve. Lately they been popularized in beauty treatments to add structure, collagen to the face primarily.
And the good news some doctors have experimented with it for hairloss.
They are inserting the threads into scalp & reporting better results than PRP or minoxidil in just about every case.
Better news is, if you’re an injector you could easily do it yourself. Anyways I’ve watched the YouTube videos & don’t think its too complicated. Ofcourse you could spend $2,000 or so to let a doctor do it or $30 to do it yourself. I’m not telling anybody to do anything, just thought the forum needed some alternatives other than cutting the balls off.
So maybe this has been discussed & rejected already by the usual suspects, but for everyone else it seems worth a look.
For me I’ve tried Doctor performed microneedling, Doctors performed PRP & nothing significant to report. This seems a little better.
