Patchy Hair On The Sides Of My Head

Hi guys, Im fifteen and for about a year or two i have noticed i have patchy hair on the sides. Although it does grow.

The haircut i get is quite short on the sides and back (0.5 blade) so could this have anything to it. However the hair at the back of my head doesnt look patchy.

I heard this could be a sign of hair loss, could you guys help me out as to why i have this patchy problem.

I have no family history of balding by the way.

looks like it could be retrograde alopecia which isn't related to normal male pattern baldness. It is basically thinning around the back and sides. I am not convinced you have it but if there is anything wrong that is what it would be.
