Out of options? (pics)

Man I'm getting tired thinking about hairloss! But here goes...

I'm not sure how far my hairloss has gone. NW3-V maybe? I've always had a ridiculously high forehead but the hairline has definately went up another centimeter or so. Vertex is thinning and its very obvious when wet.

I stopped propecia like 8-9months ago cause of sides (even with 0.25mg/day). Right now I'm only using Rogaine foam and Nizoral. I've been looking for alternatives like fluridil, revita, dutas.. but no one seem to be reporting any real success with these or there's a possibility of more sides. I guess surgery is out of the question since the hairloss isnt stabilized?

Have I run out of real options?

I would give Dutas a go! Many have been successful with it and the sides have been different for some than with finasteride. Some had sides on finasteride, but not on dutasteride. I am also gonna change to dutasteride (just ordered today) due to lack of success.
Additionaly you might add Topical spironolactone to your regimen and use it for the hairline. I have no experience with that, but many claim success.

Good Luck, mate!

My balls used to ache on Propecia, they don't ache on dutasteride...and I sure as heck and not getting any more sex these days so that's not it.

You can try Nanoguard shampoo. Michael Barry suggest a bunch of different things to fight hair loss from an inflammation standpoint. There's a lot you can be doing.

Ohdearno,

You can give dutasteride a try like others here have said, and/or use topical spironolactone too.

You also have some room to upgrade with your topical and your shampoo.

Your hair looks pretty good except the receding like you said. The thinning in back is not very obvious.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I will sleep on it and decide tomorrow.

Meanwhile, any online stores you can recommend where I can buy these things? I live in Sweden so I guess it has to be located within EU?

I would recommend ordering Avodart from http://www.merlonipharma.ch They are a fast, reliable pharmaceutical wholesaler and they despatch from Italy (even though they are based in a Swiss border town). Merlonipharma don't have secure online ordering so you have to either fax or phone them with your credit card number, or make an international bank transfer. Communicating with them can be something of a pain as they are based in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, and only have one fluent English-speaker (Dr Gori). He will handle all the emails etc.

If you don't want the hassle of Merlonipharma, there's either http://www.inhousepharmacy-europe.com or http://www.unitedpharmacies.com These are widely regarded as the 'best' non-registered online pharmacies. Both of these sites will despatch from offshore and sell cheap generic Indian brands of dutasteride as well as GSK Avodart.
