Yeah thats right, a thread about peanut butter.

Best tasting stuff if you love your peanutbutter, which I do. Why in the world do they make the fake stuff? It doesn't taste that great compared to this jar of heaven, it doesn't even tast 1/10 as good. I could eat an entire jar.

This is the best I have tried so far

The only draw back is it is so tough to stir your first time of use. It takes about 10 minutes to do it right but well worth it. The oil seprates on the store shelf and and the rest of the peanut butter is like clay. But once you put it in the fridge it stays mixed.

Love it

I second your observation. It's delicious.

Have you tried the varieties sold at Central Market? They're in the bulk food department. They also have cashew butter, which is really excellent...

Never tried it from them. I try to avoid Central Market because next thing you know you have spent $200 on one basket of food. That place is a trap but the food is as good as it gets. I try to use Whole Foods since it is a tad cheaper. Whenever I make a special dinner for whatever reason I use Central Market. Ever had their Albacore Tuna salad? Something like $7 a pound but well worth it. Best I have ever had.

And whats the deal with those weird carts at Central Market? I am always hunched over pushing those weird things.

Yes, the carts are ridiculous....and your $200 remark is spot-on. We go there occasionally with the excuse of buying their produce...it's clearly superior. By the time we're done, we've got a cart load of food, spending as much as we'd spend in 2-3 trips to Tom Thumb.

Never had their tuna salad, but will certainly try it now. Their ready-to-eat dinner section is pretty darn good.

Oh yeah - the Krispy Kreme next door (Lover's Ln location) doesn't help matters.

IBM - please eat something. At 108 lbs you could eat 100 jars of the aforementioned product and still be dangerously underweight. Eating PB is fine...in fact it's a rather healthy food in moderation.

make sure it does not say hydrogenated or shortening in the ingredients. most peanut butters do. that is why i just eat peanuts all the time. i hope that is not too much fat, or the wrong ratio.

There is such a thing as healthy fat!

You know your brain is fat right?

Actually, thinking about it some more, I agree, there is no such thing as healthy fat. Stupid brain, STOP PRODUCING DHT OR I'LL KILL YOU!

Brain: I produce DHT so that you have a reason to stay up at 3am in the morning posting on hair loss forums.

Me: ... f*** you, I don't enjoy this crap.

(Conversation goes on much like the conversations you have with your own brain).

person_123 - way to go! You've bastardized an otherwise light-hearted thread about one of life's simple pleasures.

Did you even bother to read what you quoted?

I get organic, hulled sunflower seeds in bulk at a food coop. Not roasted or salted. Taste very good, and 1/3 the price of the cheapest salted seeds at the super market. You gotta know where to shop to get decent food.
