Well, somebody did post the side effects a while back. They are pretty harsh. It blocks all types of testosterone so if you like big boobs and soft weiners it should do the trick. I take topical spironolactone in my own alcohol solution and haven't had any side effects except for stink.

I take oral spironolactone right now - 25mg per day. I used to take it back in 2002 but 100mg per day and in like 30 days it gave me severe pain in the right breast - gyno (left breast never effected). Of course I stopped taking it right away. This year I decided to give it another go but at the much lower dosage - so far no ill effects at this dosage - been on now for 40 days or so. It never gave me a limp dick nor did it make any of my copious amount of body hair shed.

hmm hairy man boobies. doesn't sound too appealing. n00p, did your nipples go back to normal after stopping the spironolactone? also, do you need a prescription for spironolactone? i think you'll only see a change of body hair if you're taking spironolactone and start waxing or getting laser hair removal. supposedly the spironolactone will help with the hair getting lighter and thinner.

Well as I said only my right nipple was affected. It more or less returned to normal- I took niacinimide for a while after as a website I found said that it helped with gyno - only the skin is a bit puffier than the left side. Nobody has ever noticied any difference cept myself.

I don't bother with prescriptions + doctors - I buy online.

What would be the point? Propecia or Avodart are the best DHT inhibitors, if you want the best plan of attack on hairloss, you should be using a product that systematically inhibits and a product that acts as a growth stimulant

Isn't oral spironolactone, literally, one of the chemicals that transexuals take to make them look like women?
