Opinions on keratene? Supposedly works like finasteride with no side effects.

I came across this, and was wondering if anyone knows anymore about it. It lowers dht levels like finasteride but without any of the side effects.
Its available in capsule form. But they have some topical shampoos too.

If it really works it can prevents or help prostate cancer, it can be dangerous when used wrong, it woudn't be sold otc. it would be the holy grail of the company so al the shampoo's and stuff there are worthless,
there's no study for longer than 4 weeks <how can they claim 'without side effects', there's no study done by an independent resource, there are no before and after pictures, saw palmetto claims the same exact thing but it's allot cheaper. Nobody is excited about it.

There is one medication that has this al and that is finasteride.
