Opinions On Hair Loss Situation, What Next?

Over the past couple years I have been losing some hair. Pretty much only in the temple region. I'm 23, and I have family members with this pattern. Which Norwood is this, and would finasteride or minoxidil even help this type where the loss is concentrated on the temple points? Here are some pics. I included a photo of Charlie Sheen at 22 years old because his hair looks about the same as mine. How did he stop receding?
