only/mostly short, thin hair lost in shower

well............well if those are the only hairs on your head, than no I can't say that is a good thing

well, if those hairs ar lost to be replaced by thicker then it is good news. If you are losing hair from specific areas on the scalp which are thinning, those might be the only hairs to lose and they are short cycling to death(bad news).

How the hell do we know whats happening on ours scalps(besides hair's current image and coverage) then, you will ask.

We don't.

We don't.

yes, but the same length and shorter, darker and thicker hairs (brought on by my regimen no doubt) are all over the scalp. The rest of my hair is kept at about 4 or 5 inches long. I'm assuming better hair is pushing those small short growing thin hairs the hell out of the way.

SEfreak is right. You have no way of knowing until a few months have passed and you look at your hair.
