Only issue w wearing is adhesive getting in hair. Ideas?

I use Ghostbond Platinum as tapes and clear bond irritate my scalp, while white glue doesn't.

The issue is the glue always, always breaks down, balls up, gets out when there is a lift & causes the hair to tangle.

If this weren't an issue, wearing would be SO easy - but this issue is tough.
