One year on Nanominox FMS...

About 13 months ago I started my new regimen, switching from Rogaine to Nanominox FMS and Nizoral.

I suck at taking pictures! I´ve taken picture throughout the year in the same spot bathroom, but they all come out different. These last pictures I took today, trying to show how terrible my situation has gotten! They are worst condition; wet and parted the worst way.

Somebody tell me; is there still any hope?? I´ve thinned so slowly it seems.. is it too late? :dunno:

keep plugging away mate. experiment

im going to start taking iodine soon for instance.

also, with that recission, why is your hair so long in the first place? if i grew my hair that long id look pretty bald and horrible but i keep mine short and tidy to mitigate the damage

u tried finasteride tablets?

Yeah I know, I usually keep it quite a bit shorter but for different reasons I haven´t been able to get it cut for a couple of months (which is often the case). I dread getting haircuts too.. The looks, the awkward conversation...

I haven´t tried finasteride tablets yet. Been putting it off for the longest time because of fear of complications. I´m meeting my derm in two weeks though, and he seems prone to signing out prescriptions for finasteride, so I think I might try a low dose..
I believe there has to be some underlying cause for my hormone trouble, as I´ve had acne for ten years and hair loss for about five, so I´m going to get my blood checked for allergies etc.
Just hope it´s not too late! Thought I was steady at NW3/4.. Now I gotta be on my way to 6 !

i sympathise man ....i get my brother to do mine. he does his own too, he's good at it. He knows the story with my hair and does it just the way i want it.

Ive been once in the past 4-5 years and that was recently, b**ch cut it wayyy too short at the top, really didnt do me any favours.

if comes the time i dont have my brother ill have someone private come to the house woman get that all the time. for a few quid extra itd be worth it

hey captain!

I'm sorry to hear that nanominox didn't work for you. :(

In your case I would suggest 2 ways to go: finasteride or topical RU. I've got almost no knowledge about the latter but it seems that irishpride has got pretty good results with it (check it out in the results section). I think both ways have they risks though.

You could also go the secure way and use spironolactone/rogaine. I think it's secure and effective but it's pretty unlikely that you get any/much regrowth.

As far as hair-cutting is concerned I do my own at home with a personal hair-cutter (using two mirrors). This way you can get your hair cut whenever you want and the way you want. There is just one little downside: you can't complain if the result doesn't fit you. :)
