Avodart? Copper Peptides?

There is *no* certain best treatment for YOU.

How is the finasteride and minoxidil working for you?

If there was a 4th - I think it'd be tricomin serum.

I've been on finasteride & minoxidil for 2 years now.

My hair line recedence has dramatically slowed.

Vellus regrowth at the temples which have been there for about a year without turning vellus.

Continued diffuse thinning (but looks ok when i use volumising moose, let it dry, then rub my head with a towel).

Mild gyno but it doesn't look that bad, looks like pectoral muscles.

Decrease in virility.

Semen just lathargcally falls out of the end of my penis as opposed to being shot.

Wouldn't an increase in minoxidil % or spironolactone be the next logical step?

a different minoxidil or higher dosage doesn't count - because it's still minoxidil and still 1 of the top 3. :)

spironolactone could be a candidate, as could revivogen or super zix or azaelic acid and the list goes on.

spironolactone and rev didn't help me. that's why my money's on tric.

unbelieveable that people will take gyno as something you "have to live with when on finasteride"...is everybody losing their mind here??

stop finasteride before you'll have severe gyno! It could be a painfull condition (and not only mentally i mean)

Bodysnatcher,
it sounds like you're benefiting from your current hairloss regimen.

I suggest that you stick with it.

However, if you want to boost your results, you might consider topical spiroactalone: (1) The 5% cream is great for the hairline and temples, and (2) the 2% liquid is excellent for diffuse thinning and applying throughout the top and crown.

In addition, copper peptides are great for enhancing the effects of the aforementioned treatments, as well as minoxidil... its benefits are numerous.

Do some research, and decide what action you'd like to take.

If, for some reason, you are still unsatisfied, you can switch to dutasteride.

Dutasteride is a hell of a hairloss drug, so only use it if your results are diminishing.

If you want the 4th agent in addition to the big 3, I have to say proxiphen-N (contains copper peptides, SODs, and NANO the minoxidil like growth simulant).
if proxiphen-N is expensive consider tricomin (which has clinical studies to back up its claims).

Hi Tech - just my personal experience - used prox-n wayyy early on (in addition to min, nizoral, and vitamin therapy. Didn't help me. But, that's just me. (nothing really helped until I finally went on finasteride).

hairtomorrow,
thanks. We all respond differently. I don't rate proxiphen-N better than finasteride.
But I rate proxiphen-N better than tricomin, spironolactone, folligen etc.

Why proxiphen-n over tricomin? If your gonna go the Cu peptide route then your best choice is tricomin.

viperfish,
Dr. Proctor was the first to use/show the use of copper peptides/SODs for hair growth properties.
Strictly speaking if Dr. P had got its patent issued on time, tricomin or folligen won't exist at all.

Because of the fact that tricomin was issued the patent ahead of Dr. Proctor, Telogen Effluvium specific copper peptide used in tricomin might be better than the ones used in the proxiphen-N. But proxiphen-N has others SODs, and NANO.

I use both tricomin and proxiphen-N and plan to use for the rest of my life.
