On Propecia and high Androstendion levels- What shall I do ?

Got my hormons checked and my Doctor said I should get of Propecia ( 10 months now) hair is going slowly to hell !


Everything was fine including DHT but the Androstendion = 3,46. He told me it should be under 2,4 at least.


So am I having a hyperreflex from Propecia or do I have too much sex ???

Plz help don't know what to do. I thought Propecia would help me not raise my hormon levels and accelerate my hairloss

I'm loosing hair on whole top ! Diffuse thinner ! I sometimes get spots on my one or two..nothing dramatical.


Is a high Androstendion level normal for male pattern baldness ? Or do I have a hormon problem which leads to hairloss. ?

woah your hairloss pattern's just like mine.. but it seems like u've had some crazy regrowth!! i wish my hair recovered like yours.

what made you go and get your hormones checked?

well if you do have it its called

the symptoms are usually oily skin, heightend sex drive and of course more hairloss.

I'm just trying to find out what lab tests i can do to determine wether i have it or not.

my hairloss right now is just like how you were when you started.

Mine Androstendion level is 8.31 normal level 1.7-6.9, nmol/L
my hair look like sh*t after starting finasteride..

how can i lower my Androstendion level..?
