On finasteride, do I need minoxidil to keep hairline?

Hey all,

The derm recommended that i got onto finasteride, even though my hair is still full and my hairline was only receding slighty.

Should i use minoxidil in conjunction with my finasteride / nizoral routine? I dont want to lose any more of the hairline if i can help it.

you could use minoxidil on hair line only to try get some regrowth.

i guess what i was trying to say was, i hear people always complaining that finasteride killed their hairline, so i wanted to know if it were true and would minoxidil be the right choice to stop it.

this is kind of a half half question, sorry if its in the wrong forum.

I think spironolactone will help on the hairline as well? Is this true?
