On 1.25mg finasteride and Rogaine, after 6 months starting to lose..

I am starting to experience some shedding. Almost as bad as it was before I started using both products. After 6 months of relatively good results, I'm starting to lose a ton of hair (hairs about 1 or so inch long, not the long hairs, which means they are the new ones that have been growing). Does this happen normally? Any reasons why this might be happening?
