Hi I'm new to forum so is this has been covered before I'm sorry and was unable to find anything by searching. Basically whats happening with my hair loss is actual inflammed spots almost like whiteheads on the scalp. It causes severe itching and eventually the hair just falls out and I have a bald spot left over from where it was. My Doctor thinksit's allopecia areata however people I know of have not experienced the itching with thier hear loss. The spots appear in different places on my scalp and I have been using ketoconazole shampoo with no positive feedback. I'm 18 years of age and have never jelled nor dyed my hair in history and have been using the same shampoo for 6 years with no change.
If anyone else has had a similar problem how did you overcome it?
