actutually i think i heard the figure over 1 million men were using it. I'm not sure if that is in the US alone or globally.

I thought that there would be a hell of lot more!!

I read some where that around 40-50million were balding in America alone. In a country like that were image is the most important thing, I thought that therewould be more users, Propecia's been around for about 7 years as well. Is there any figures for Propecia users ??? Were did that 1million figure c*m from???

Merck are in the business of making money, right??.

I can't believe that it costs that much to make Propecia, if they would sell it for much cheaper, then more men would use it, and they would probably make a hell of alot more profit anyway. It's not as if there spending millions on further research on how to improve Propecia is it.

I still think most people beleave you cant doing anything about hairloss
there is so much snake oil out there 1000's of products verse only two that have any real science behind them
and that gives the legit hairloss products a bad rep

so i think most guys just put up with losing there hair, maybe 1 in 10 try and do something about it, and half of them use snake oil and the other half try rogaine and minoxidil
I bet there are as many men losing there hair today as 40 years ago

still i would love to know what % of balding men try finasteride or minoxidil
