22 years old. 7 months ago i was tested for thyroid disorder (mother has it). doctor said thyroid test results were fine, except that i did have antibodies (12). he said anything below 30 isn't of major concern, but ideally, one should have 0 antibodies. not sure if this is related to my hairloss

i should add, it's not so much that my hair is falling out daily. in fact, it rarely does, even if i claw at it. it just appears to look thinner (the sides mostly)

Doesn't look like male pattern baldness!

You know, I am just going to throw this out there based on what you said.
But maybe you could try a different shampoo, if you haven't already. Some shampoos just make my already really thin hair(what's left of it) look just horrible, sparse, and limp. The one I know that does that(to my hair) starts with a P. And that's the thickening version.
