What is the main difference between Norwood 2 and 3? I have had people label me Norwood 2, 2.5 and 3... They seem very similar

A Norwood 2 is commonly known as a mature hairline. A Norwood 3 is a heavily recessed hairline and is usually indicated as the first sign of actual balding. There is no typical example of being a Norwood 2 or Norwood 3, everyone's case is different. It's best to look at family history of baldness.
