Norwood based on hairline or hair length?

This may be a silly question but I'm new to this. When I look at the chart I am a norwood 1 because of hair length, but if I pull my hair back it looks like norwood 2 the way my hairline is shaped (sort of like a "V" shape). Thoughts?

Providing photos of your hair line would help. Clear in the light focused photos of your temples from the brow and up.

Before seeing your photos I'm guessing you have the beginning of an adult mature hair line. This isn't male pattern baldness.
