Is it possible or has anyone seen someone under 25 years of age with male pattern baldness of Norwwod 5 or worse? I'm curious to see how fast balding can accelerate. If I knew I was going to end up like that before 25 I'd get on propecia right away. But if my balding were to take a while, then I could probably hold off for a couple of years considering you can't take propecia for more than four years.

That's not true at all. I know of people on these forums who have been taking Propecia for more than 7 years.

It's a myth. For some users, Finasteride loses effectiveness over the long term. Others maintain. No one really sees any regrowth beyond 2 years, though.

What if you use propecia for a year and stop using it for 2 years? Would it be fresh and just as effective or would it still be less powerful?'

My doctor says that the anti inflammitory drugs im taking are powerfull if you take them for like 3 years. But if you stop taking them for a while and start up again they might not even work at all. Is that the same thing with propecia?

I don't know. Bryan might be better suited to answer this one.

Man that sucks, poor guy. Heartbreakid on this forum says he is 17 and he is like a NW5-6. Its hard 2 believe that a kid can lose all of his hair in a course of a year. Most people gradually lose it over a long peroid of time like everyone in my family.
