Go to the home page of this site and read the research section on the left hand side. The active ingredient of Nizoral is ketoconazole. It would regrow hair in studies similar to that of 2% minoxidil.

Revita also has 1% ketoconazole in it along with a number of other proven regrowth ingredients.

Yes. Some coutries have 1% keto Nizoral and some have 2% keto Nizoral (ketoconazole aka "keto" is the ingredient in nizoral). Doesn't matter much which one you buy. Some people say the 2% dries out their hair. I use 2% nizoral and it works fine for me.
