nizoral causing scalp tenderness?

i started using nizoral once every three days, two weeks ago. i've noticed the front of my scalp is really tender - not to the touch, but whenever the hair is moved it feels tender/sore. is this a bad sign or will this maybe improve? i'm using nizoral 1%.

I've never heard of this side effect; nizoral shouldn't give you sides. And plus, skin tightness/soreness isn't exactly a side effect.

Try to go off the nizoral for a week and see if the condition improves, that'd be my only advice... I really don't suspect nizoral to do that to your scalp in ONE area when you're applying it on your whole head.

I get scalp tenderness when I don't use nizoral. Had it for years. Nizoral stopped it.
