Nitric Oxide-Herpes question

I have stopped using arginine because I think I have herpes. Is there a way I can produce NO without reactivating herpes? I have read Lysine being good for herpes, but it competes with arginine
Anyone got suggestions?

I have a friend who has herpes that has been using a product called CytoGainer (from Cytosport) which has a mega dosing of Lysine in it, and hasn't had any problems since starting it. Arginine is not going to grow your hair back, its just a potentially helpful supplement for hair, so i would definitely say in your case that your focus would be moreso on controlling outbreaks than worrying if you're getting enough arginine "for your hair".

Weird I typed a response to this already and it is gone. DSL has it's low points I guess.....

Anyway, before you convince yourself you have herpes, go get checked by a Doctor. I once thought I had herpes a long time ago. It ended up being a bizarre reaction to some weird fancy soap my GF was using back then. Whenever I slept over and used it, I guess I had an alergic reaction. It took 3 docs to convince me I didn't have Herpes. I was so freaked out I dumped her. :)

Thnx HairLossTalk.com and Cassin. But let's assume I do have herpes and I want to use arginine or another nitric oxide product, what are my options? Is it possible? On some sites they say use arginine 5 hours prior to using lysine and on some sites they say if you have herpes don't use arginine and another site says use citrulline :hairy: I'm really confused.
