Nirozal and seborrheic dermatitis

Anyone here have problems from time to time with seborrheic dermatitis?

The only problem I have from it is my lips get sort of... dry. It's just a constant annoyance on the lips, and I use prescribed Selenium Sulfide Lotion and that usually clears it up.

I've learned though that Nizoral makes seborrheic dermatitis flare up for me whenever I use and I've been trying to use both Nizoral and Selenium Sulfide to combat the problem, but it's a lot of extra hassle I'd rather not have to go through.

My question, anyone else deal with seborrheic dermatitis? Why is Nizoral causing the flare ups when Nizoral is supposed to be actually one of the treatments for seborrheic dermatitis? Ketoconazole is supposed to help treat seborrheic dermatitis, but it seems to get worse whenever I use Nizoral.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)

I've experienced the same. Use steroids to get it under control, and use nizoral for scalp maintenance only.

Edit:
I see it's your lips that you're having trouble with. It should still work.
