I know Nioxin doesn't grow hair, and isn't really meant to, but would you say that it does what its supposed to in removing residue from the scalp? Would it be a good idea to use this before using nizoral or revita?

If anyone doesnt know the answer to this question, then I'll ask this.: What is a good shampoo to cleanse the scalp and remove residue before using revita or nizoral?

To actually remove residue I would go with T'Gel or anything with the Sal Acid. I do this maybe every ten days. Depending on how much gel you use and such.

I used Nioxin for a long time. I think it's a waste as even a shampoo. I would put my money towards the Tricomin 2in1 or even the Revivogen for your everyday hairloss shampoo.

The new shampoo is pretty powerful but I am not currently adding to my regimen.

I would not be cleansing before the nizoral application. If you want maybe baby shampoo or something mild. I do use that here and there.

I tend to agree with Lorenzo: Nioxin is a pretty average shampoo. I think the Tricomin shampoo isn't particularly special either. The spray is probably a better option if you want to allow the copper peptides sufficient time on the scalp.
