Hy All,
I have a few questions:
First of all; hairloss has stopped.
I finished my relationship which has cost me a lot of hairs-I hope I will regrew these. Unfortunately, losing hair is the fate of my family's men,
so it's not only stress-related.
THE SUCESS:
I just passed month 9 of my regimen (propecia 1mg, regaine 2%, nizoral)
and as for my vertex, I have regrown my hairs which have been very thin so you could see my scalp! Yippie!!
THE QUESTIONS:
Question 1:
I am currently losing more hairs again, but these hairs are smaller than my normal hair, have an obviously bigger diameter at the top than on the root.
The root is tiny, compared to my normal hair.
Also, I used to have light brown hair, with a touch of red - these small hairs are colorless at the root and black at the top.
Are these regrown hairs that are currently shedding?
Question 2:
As for my frontal area, I can't say if I regrew any hairs,
I still can see my scalp in bright light. But I noticed, that I am growing small, thin, colorless hairs, they have around 1inch.
They do not make any optical difference, but I wonder if I regrew these hairs because of my regimen? Could it be that these are the first signs of regrowth and these hairs could become terminal hairs later on?
Question 3:
I am currently thining about switching from 2% Regaine to 5% , as the results seem to be a lot better. As my scalp is very sensitive, I don't know if this is such a wise idea - I thought to try it out for one month, I will stick to it if my scalp doesn't get irritated.
The plan is to boost regrowth and as soon as my hair has thickened up, I'll go back to 2% to keep the status.
Does anyone have any experiences with switching from 2% to 5% and back?
Question 4:
I didn't get this answered clearly:
Supposed, my regimen is sucessfull; will I keep (maybe regrow) my hair-status as long as I keep on taking the medication, or will I only slow down hair loss over the years?
SO - a bunch of questions - it would be great if someone could answer this.
Anyway; a BIG UP to all of you here - I have been really down recently and postings, topics and people here really helped me!
I will stick to my regimen and be patient - after all, it all starts in your head, right?!

Thank you all & GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
Cheers,
Surferosa
