newbie some questions

Im new here and i like you guys am getting really worried about my hair, im 23 and i have been noticing my hair thinning at the crown and the front, i lost my gran last year and this is my final year of university and girl friend is really driving me mad, so my question is,

My hair loss, is it down to stress? or natural? (ive never met my real father or seen pictures of him)

I have red the forum a bit and see these drugs, i dont mind paying £28 for the pills from boots, but there is Finasteride, is that safe and where can it be bought in the uk?

Demlotcrew, gees dude! You've got some stress going on there eh?! Sorry to hear about your loss. Your hair loss could be due to stress as loss in any form, especially loss of some one close to you, takes it's toll on your body including your hair.

Thanks Greg, i really do hope its just stress! My grandfather has lots of hair and hes nearly 70. Its just so tough, alot of my friends have really nice thick hair and they can get away with any hair style. I just want some life back!

Ive bought some Regain 5% does anyone know if i can just use it every other day? to 'maintain' as my hair is really not that bad (yet).
