About me:
started losing hair 5 years ago, at age 30.
Seemed to go from NW0 to NW3 in a matter of months (perhaps I exaggerate, but that's what it felt like).
I've been taking finasteride for 5 years. Sadly I haven't regained any hair.
I was looking into hair transplants.
However, I actually still have some hair at the temples. It just refuses to grow.
It's been in stasis for 5 years, while the surrounding hair has grown as normal.
If this hair would only grow, the temples would still be thin, but I might be able to live with it.
I was considering Minoxidil, but I heard it only works for the crown. Also, I'm worried that if I start using it, even if I see no gains, I'll still be stuck on it for life (for fear of the dread shed).
Any advice is much appreciated.
