Fellas,
Newbie here. I just have a few quick questions. Ive noticed my hair slowly start to thin over the past year or so. Im not looking for miracles. Im just looking to slow/stop the process. Im looking for recommendations on what products to use, how to apply them etc. Any help anyone can give me would be great..

Right now I seem to be losing more hair than usual. For the last 3-4 weeks, Ive been seeing a lot of hair in the shower drain. More than Ive seen before. I don't know if Im shedding or what. Any info anyone can give me would be great.

Thanks!
Nick

Finasteride (Propecia / Proscar) is the "best" option for stopping the progression of male pattern baldness. Add Nizoral shampoo (use it 2-3 times a week).

You should read through the forums and the hairlosstalk site to gain some information about hairloss and its treatments.

Good luck !

PS: Now, ask what the difference between Propecia and Proscar is ! :p

I concur

1 mg of finasteride a day

which is:

1 x 1mg propecia tablet

or

1 fifth of a 5mg Proscar tablet (chop the pills up and save yourself some cash)

Go to a few dermatologists and get there opinions on your status regarding male pattern baldness and advice regarding a way to counter it.
