I am 27 always had a mature hairline since i was a a teen so I never really knew if I was balding or not, over the last yer however, my right temple has receded much higher then my left almost an inch so i got on finasteride/minoxidil.. Its been a month, and now it seems my right temple receded even more... so bummed out, I know of shedding but i assumed that was for the top of the scalp, and I know how hard it is if not impossible to get frontal hair back... I haven't added nizoral to my regime because i can't find any, am i doing anything wrong? so bummed....

Propecia might help in the front. The study for propecia only looked at the vertex because they thought it would work best there, but it works everywhere just maybe not as well in the front.
I agree though the front is way more important then the back and really makes a person look balding not the back.

The studies for FDA approval of minoxidil where not done on the temples so the claim can't be made that it helps temporal loss. I've seen plenty of posters get their hair back round the temples.

It's likely that your going through a standard minoxidil shed ride it out and hair will come back

Just stick with it.
