have just ordered 28 5mg proscar tablets from inhousepharmacy.co.uk and so am on my way to joining in the fight against male pattern baldness!!!

i am 20. well built and i would say fairly well advanced in the stages of puberty. however in the last month or so i have been having more substantial facial and chest hair growth. obviously this must have something to do with my hormone situation and although i have been experiencing gradual temple and top of the head hairloss for the past 2 yrs could this acceleration in body hair be effecting the hair on top of my head (like increased hairloss?)

my main concerns about my regime/finasteride are

1) will start with 1/4 proscar EOD. is this both usefull and wise?? could you suggest any other dosages (bearing in mind i am scared shitless of the sides)

2) will my finasteride usage decrease/stop my body hair growth (i am enjoying having good facial hair and the chance of a hairy chest.

3) in the UK boots sells nizorelle. is this the same as nizoral? both 1% ket but wondering if nizoral has other usefull ingredients not in nizorelle

will keep everyone updated on my progress and good luck to all on similar regimes.

thank-you in advance for answering my questions.

Yes, go for the 1/4. If sides do come up then you can lower dosage. As for now start with 1/4

New user, same old questions. :)

Body hair is inversely affected by DHT as scalp hair. DHT is the messenger (not it's ONLY purpose in the body of course) that tells body hair follicles to grow, and grow they do. This is why when peeps lose their har (generally, but not across the board) they tend to be bald hairy guys. THEORETICALLY (which means it's possible, but not proven or a 100% of the time occurance), reducing the body's DHT serum levels, body hair follicles might stop producing hairs, or produce smaller whispier hairs.

Don't take this to be absolute truth though, just theories based on my own personal experience, and posts from others.

Pip pip, cheerio, and all that sh*t.
