Well first of all welcome!!! Search the boards under "Treatments" and you will get a feel for what works and what does not.

Alot of people (not all) use the "BIG 3" Including myself now for about 4 years.

Minoxidil 5%, twice per day
Propecia, 1 pill a day
Nizoral Shampoo 1% (over the counter) or 2% (prescription) leave in for 20 minutes and use 3 times per week.

I am sure you will get alot of other responses as this board has some great people (and the Mods are cool too). Good Luck!

P.S. You need to use these or any other treatments for at least a year before evaluating if they work. Also your pics are not too bad. I would jump on treatments ASAP. These are the treatments that are proven to work on most people.

That's pretty aggressive male pattern baldness for only losing your hair for 1 or 2 years. From everything I've read here you might want to look into the Big 3. That's what I'm getting started on now. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. If you are here it means that you are looking for a treatment.

I'll go with the previous comments. Look for the big 3...

Go and have a chat with your doctor and ask him to give you a propecia prescription, that is a brand name for finastride. Also, get some minoxidil to get some regrowth going. You haven't been losing your hair for too long, so you should respond to minoxidil. Minoxidil should be available in all pharmacies under the name Rogaine/Regaine, but it's expensive to buy it in shops.

If money is an issue, order everything on the internet.

Depends on your personal feelings, and outlook, but that's definitely some aggressive hairloss and the only proven solutions are finasteride (brand name propecia) and minoxidil (brand name rogaine, comes as a foam). I'd start on both if I were you.

Yes, like with any treatment you must continue them forever to keep any results you got. The only "permanent" treatment is a Hair Transplant.
