Well I have noticed thinning at the front of my hairline over the course of the last few years. It seems it has gotten worse during the last 6 months but it may just be as the process takes place I notice it more. My temples have not receded as badly as I feared they would but I do notice the hairs on the front of my hairline are definitely thinning out. I have decided to start Propecia this week to see how it goes but wonder if I should take my hair down to a #3 or #2? Most importantly, what kind of receding or loss am I experiencing based on the photos? Scary time as I am 31 and back on the dating scene.....

Any help is much appreciated!!!

Note: I do have a collic on theright side of my head so it appears worse than the other side naturally in the picture. Also, sorry pictures are so small had to take on phone.

Anyone? I started the shampoo and propecia Saturday. Can anyone tell me how far advanced mine is, what to expect?

So anyone know what stage hair loss I am at? It is tough for me to gauge because on the front right side of my hairline I have a horbble cowlick. Been on Propecia and nizoral for almost 2 weeks now so keeping fingers crossed that at the very least I can maintain. I am just getting back into the dating scene soI am very nervouse...

Be careful with Propecia, but yeah I would say it's possibly the best start too but make no mistake it's strong stuff ok so be careful!!! I regret not being more careful with finasteride.

Minoxidil or possibly spectral RS (I quite like it) should help you fill in lost areas if finasteride is working.

Nizoral or something like Regenepure should help to calm the scalp :)
