Hey everybody this is my first post and have a couple of questions before I start on my regimen. First, Im 38 yrs old and not sure if I have male pattern baldness because my dad and brother do not have it. Has anybody every heard of getting male pattern baldness from their mom's side of the family? I started noticing loss of hair in my early 30's, but it was small amount so I wasnt too concerned. My profile pic was taken about 6 months ago and my hair is still slowly falling out. You can notice a difference. My goal is to regrow and maintain what hair I do have. I know that what I loss already cant grow back because of DHT. This may sound crazy but I really dont want a thick full head of hair like back in my 20's, just something that is manageable. After my research on this website I ordered rogain foam and finasteride. I already received rogain and waiting on the finasteride, which should be next week. Im looking for nizoral 2%, but can only find 1% on the internet. On ebay/amazon is it under another name? Finally is it ok too start on rogain now or is it better to wait till I receive everything? I never used rogain foam any advice on how to apply? Once I start I post pics of progression. I know its gonna be a long journey but Im excited, have support from wife too.
