BETA-SITOSTEROL (375mg)starting this week, prob 3x a week, hoping to avoid finasteride like sides.
REVITA- EOD, will be starting this week
OMEGA-3, GROUND FLAXSEED- started up again, will try to be consistent
minoxidil 12.5- been using only about 5x a week forever, would love to drop it, but will prob step it up to xandrox and try to be more consistent

Ill try to get pics and start my own thread soon.

erm, yeah it's not bad, you have to understand I have a pretty controversial attitude now regarding all this (see my regimen! hehe :) ) but that might do something :)

The way I approach this is to balance my hormones as best I can (check my thyroid, increase my insulin sensitivity, make my liver nice and healthy to increase my hormones, take lignans, ensure my SHBG is high) then take the edge of my DHT with mild finasteride.

Then use mostly anti-inflammatories, sebum reducers, anti-oxidants etc to make life even easier for my hair follicles and .. yeah, bob's your uncle! ^_^

My regimen is designed with all this in mind but a lot of this came from Brian Simonis!

I tend to use an Omega 3/Krill Oil and SDG/HMR lignan combo as I think it's probably more potent than pure flax. I would switch the Revita for Nizoral and a stimulatory shampoo but that's just my personal recommendation, Revita might be quite good :)

Beta-sitosterol... i WANT to like it but I just keep hearing bad things :(

It might work, but I am unsure about it..

Sorry about being so in-depth and stuff like, I've just done a LOT of research so far about stuff so I find it hard not to talk about it!

Hoppi :)

Thanks for the input. Is there any reason you've changed your opinion on beta-sitosterol? I did some lookin in to it but I thought you were a supporter of it.

I could just say screw it, and go for low dose finasteride, but I had bad sides the 1st time around

I dunno I just kept hearing all these bad stories about it. Many people on this other forum/community I'm on say it actually made their hair worse... I don't know I mean it could be fine but I thought well, if all I want to do is take the edge off my DHT while I tackle my hair loss from many angles, then a mild finasteride dose should do that quite effectively. Besides I mean, my T and E levels should both by balanced by the lignans and improved diet :)
