hi all
i'm new here suffering from the same problem you all have
i'm 21 years old from israel
just start to fight my hairloss thanks to this site i see that there is a hope
i ordered a saw palmetto from the internet
those pills can do something only by using them or i need something to combine with like minoxidil 5%?
i heard that minoxidil helps, but i have some question about this:
1.it's known that when you start to use minoxidil you have more hair loss
for how long does it takes?
2.it's can make thing worse? i'm affraid using this and the fact that i'll have to keep using this all my life...

thanks
avi

Saw palmetto is not effective in stopping hair loss or growing hair. Throw it away.

Try propecia/minoxidil/nizoral.

On minoxidil you probably will loose more hair for 2-3 weeks then it will stop.

It works nothing like propecia. Otherwise man more would be using it. Only thing it is really good for is promoting healthy prostate.

hawaii male is right propecia/minoxidil/nizoral. Check out hawaii males story and pics in the success story section. You will see why he recomends propecia/minoxidil/nizoral.

Minoxidil will help induce dormant hair follicles to grow, thicken up existing hair follicles that have been miniaturised by androgenetic alopecia also hold the hair in the anagen phase longer (anagen refers to the growing stage of a hair whereas telogen refers to the resting stage).

Ref:socks

Minoxidil can cause a slight shed in the beginning, but this hair will go back.

The stuff about having to use it for the rest of your life is sort of true. If you quit minoxidil, you will experience a really bad shed, plus your hair will return to the state it would be in had you never tried minoxidil.
