Ok, about 5 months ago in June, I had a pretty stressful period, most stressed out 've ever been actually, I literally thought I had some form of cancer. Although it appears the extra symptoms which led me to believe I had cancer were due to stress from having a partially twisted testicle and shi**ing myself about it(never got blood cut off though, lucky more than anything with this). The doctors didn't agree with me, 4 doctors including a Urologist couldn't agree, an Ultrasound couldn't show it, another ultrasound showed nothing wrong either, but just then at the final straw a Radiologist came in to ask me what I was talking about and why I thought it was twisted. Luckily he saw exactly what I was talking about and said he'd try to get the urologist to check again...still haven't had a word from them though.... Oh and FYI, this seems to be severly unknown to the medical world, I don't see how the hell they can't tell it's not in the correct position.
Anyway the first couple doctors and fail Ultrasound stressed me out alot, and in the first week or two I was incredibly stressed, this led to stomach problems, throat problems, all of which were either due too IBS(not likely as doesn't affect throat), Gastritus which I had before(not likely because it wasn't at all like the first 2 times I had it nor does in affect bowl or throat) or cancer. I must also mention swollen lymph nodes which I still have, bout 5 of them which i'm sure shouldn't be there and the others I am not sure if they're suppose to be feelable or not, also I coincidentally had blood coming out of the rectum at the same time as all this, this was one of my reassurances that I didn't have anything serious, then blood appeared = extra stress....Anyway, it seems some of these including the lymph nodes(I should actually get them checked considering the are 5 swollen in my neck for quite a while now) where coincidence and stress.
Anyway, as I said, it was stress causing these problems, and then more stress from said problems making me think I was dying. So hairloss forum. Yeah about 2 months after said stress I began shedding a decent amount, but it is Entirely male pattern baldness shaped. I have some hair coming out of the back and sides but extremely little amounts, so that could easily be normal. Crown is thinning and there is a tiny yet noticeable baldish spot in the middle and the hairline has gone from NW1 to NW2.5 possibly 3 in the last 4 months. First it was one side and then the other. Have no camera so can't post pics. I went to a specialist yesterday who prescribed Finas, but he seems somewhat unprofessional to be honest. I thought there was a Miniaturization test and all? He basically took a picture of my hairline, zoom in a bit and we checked it out on a PC. I have tiny little white hairs like it is Miniaturization but still. It's a little coincidental(yet again) that my male pattern baldness has kicked in and the right time for Telogen Effluvium to kick in(if I was stressed enough). Mothers side males, all bald early enough, 20-30. Fathers Side ain't bald at all.
Also got the massive itch which Nizoral 2% does help a decent amount(still itch but not nearly the same amount). Also got minoxidil 5% kirkland. Got Finas as well today. So eh, what ya's think? Could it be both at once, or could Telogen Effluvium have severly kicked off male pattern baldness etc?
wow, embarrising and weak story on my part but still, thank god i'm anonymous
Edit---Oh yeah I started the minoxidil about a month ago, I'm convinced there is increase hairloss(minoxidil shedding I assume) in the last 2-3 weeks. Also been taking Biotin and Silica to assure I get the correct amount of hair pills into my system haha
Did I post this to the correct forum, seems kinda like it should be in 'my story' now that I read over it
