New hair system cut in: storing it for when I need it

Apologies if this has been asked already!

I am looking to get my next hair system cut in next week, I still think I can get at least another month out of my current one. So my question is, can I store my new system for a couple of months after it has been cut in and when I eventually decide to wear it? If that's the case, is a zipped bag the best place to store it and out the way in a dark cupboard etc.

You can store in a zip lock bag, in a draw or dark place for a few years.

Just check every month. I have stored units for years without issues.
