I suspect those thinners and mild receders may have mistaken this for male pattern baldness?

Judging from my own condition, it resembles exactly what has been described in the article....

ROD SINCLAIR: What's unusual about this condition is that the hair growth switches on and off in this rhythmic cycle, so that the hairs that are produced have this spangled appearance

Chewbaca, sorry if I sound delusional, but this strange conditions happen in a minor percentage of world population, and the majority of that small percentage is afro-american.


Well, to be completely sure you just have to get a microscope and take a look to your hair. If it grows like -0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0- then you may be correct.


Strange hair shaft defects are so uncommon that it´s not worth seeking into them.
