Oke look at my post below ... this is clearly another one now to check long term safety. Good sign I guess. And am I right that those guys in Korea already prescribe it anyways???

I am surprised how many other studies are seemingly going on there anyways ... :

Primary Outcome Measures:

Occurrence of adverse event after AVODAR® administration [ Time Frame: 2 years ] [ Designated as safety issue: Yes ]

Secondary Outcome Measures:

Effectiveness after AVODAR® administration [ Time Frame: 2 years ] [ Designated as safety issue: No ]

Occurrence of unexpected or serious adverse event after AVODAR® administration [ Time Frame: 2 years ] [ Designated as safety issue: Yes ]

Basically there is no treatment allocation. Subjects who would be administered of AVODAR® at their physicians' discretion will be enrolled. Dosage regimen will be recommended according to the prescribing information. Subjects will be enrolled consecutively.

Cool. it does show that Glaxo is still investigating dutasteride for hairloss. They did a phase III (but it was more a phase II trial) and effectiveness of dutasteride was better than control but not that much! So that was really dissapointing. I am suprised that they call this a trial, whereas in fact it is a kind of cohort study.
